Why Choose Glendale Computers

To put it quite simply the first reason to choose Glendale Computers is "Cost".
The second reason and one we feel is equally important is "Respect". We here at Glendale Computers have heard and witnessed so many cases of people having to pay unreal fees for even basic computer repairs. We have been repairing and building computers for over 15 years and can provide you the same quality services at a fraction of the cost. As proof of this please scroll down this page and select a service you interested in. Then call the repair store of your choice and ask for an estimate for the same repair. It's that simple.

Call them and get a quote, Then call us.

I can assure that you will be astounded at the price difference. We use the exact same equipment and software as the "big boys", We just won't rob you blind. If you are in need of a service that you don't see listed, then please call for a pricing quote.
You may use the red links on the left to navigate up and down the page in order to check pricing and other information. The second request I make is this. If you are happy with our services, tell your friends, If not, tell us. We will do Everything we can to make sure you are another satisfied customer.

Home Networking

If you have more than one computer in your home, we can "network" them together for you. When this is done properly it allows for safe and fast file sharing between the computers you own. It is also possible to set-up a shared printer so that all computers in the home can print files on the shared printer.
There are two ways to accomplish this. One method involves running ethernet cables from one pc to another and connecting them through ethernet cards, a router, and possibly a network hub. The cost of ethernet cards is around $20.00 a piece and each computer on your network will require a card if it doesn't have an ethernet port on the motherboard. Almost all newer PC's have at least one port so the cards would probably not be needed on pc's less than 4 years old. The next component is a router. These cost around $50.00 and allow for the connection of four computers on a home network. If you have more than four computers you will need a network hub also. The hub allows you to turn one line from the router into more connections. The final expense would be the ethernet cables to hook it all together. Prices vary greatly so I will recommend consulting with us before purchasing. We would be happy to provide you with a free estimate if you contact us.
The other method is a "wireless" home network. This involves the purchase of a "wireless" router and "wireless" ethernet cards for each pc. While the costs of wireless networking hardware is somewhat higher, you avoid having to drill holes and run the cables from pc to pc. It is EXTREMELY important that a wireless network is properly configured to prevent outside access by people outside of your home. Again we would be happy to provide you with a free estimate.
